About Lens Arena

Lens Arena is a reference for modern photographic lenses. Each lens has a page with its specifications, sample photos from photographers who use it, and video reviews. You can compare lenses side by side and browse them by brand, mount, focal length and use.

Independent

Lens Arena is an independent project. It isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or paid by any lens maker or retailer, and no maker reviews pages before they go up.

Some lens pages link to retailers, and we may earn a commission when you buy through those links. Commissions don't change any spec, comparison or list. The affiliate disclosure explains how this works.

How the pages are made

Every page is built from the same lens data and the same rules. The methodology page explains where the data comes from, how the "best lens" picks and comparison verdicts are worked out, and what we don't do.
